Guest Speaker: Colorado Home and Garden Show

Cynthia has the honor of being a Guest Speaker for the American Society of Interior Designers(ASID) at the Colorado Home and Garden Show where she will present three seminars on "How to Avoid Design Mistakes". Are you a perfectionist that is remodeling or building a new home? Learn a few trade secrets that can help you avoid making costly deign mistakes so that you can be happy in your home. She will guide you through Light Fixture Heights, Tile Selections, Beautiful Millwork and more. With over 15 years of experience Cynthia believes that it is not only important to select finishes that are beautiful in your home but that they are practical and are able to hold up through the test of time. She will give you pointers on how you can show your design intent and the importance of clear communication to your General Contractor.

The Colorado Home and Garden Show is organized by the Colorado Garden Foundation which is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the education of the horticulture industry. The Colorado Garden Foundation has provided over $6.8 Million in Scholarships and Grants over the last 25 years. All money raised from the show go back into the community in the form of school landscape improvements, community gardens, and education and research programs. Executive Director Jim Fricke was awarded the 2015 Thomas P. O'Loughlin Award which is the highest honor of all National Assoc. of Consumer Shows for providing 250 organizations and students with scholarships and grants throughout Colorado.
