Tile Designs & Patterns

Need a few tile ideas? Tile installation is a permanent selection so get it right the first time. Drawings can be crucial to communicate your ideas properly to the tile installer to avoid costly mistakes. Most interior designers will help you narrow down your choices and help you create tile pattern drawings that are properly labled with material and size. With these drawings the gerneral contractor can ask several subcontractors to bid out the project to recieve competitive bidding.

In the image above from top to bottom are some of our favorite tile patterns: Running Bond, Straight Set, Parquet, Pinwheel, Herringbone, Chevron, Hexagon, Octagon & Dot, Penny Rounds, Pebbles, Scallops, Plaid, Diamond-Escher, Basketweave, Diamond-On Point, and Ogee. Most of these patterns can be done with various sizes to give a slightly different look but these patterns have been tested over time and they remain classic as trends come and go.
