The fireplace is the main focal point of the great room and has been redone in an edgy, but not contemporary, honed pewter stone and accented with a horsehair wall covering. Hanging above is a vintage poster art in a black frame to add some drama and scale to the space. Hidden in the beams above is a mechanical projector screen that can be rolled up when not in use. In the dining area the main focal point is the globe chandelier with antique vintage bulbs that hangs over the dark oak table with white upholstered dining chairs. To add additional color to the space we brought in a one of kind Authentic Rug with red, blues, and neutrals. The reds in the rug coordinate with the exposed red brick walls and the large red tufted sofa in the great room. Ralph Lauren fabrics are classic and timeless and when combined with the exposed brick walls, wood ceilings, and large glass windows the finished product turned into a comfortable loft space in the middle of downtown.
